Warner Music Canada and Measha Join Forces

…IN A CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS

I am so happy to announce that I’ll be releasing an album on Warner Music Canada coming this Christmas 2014. Working with producer Michael Phillip Wojewoda (Barenaked Ladies, Rheostatics) we have a couple absolute gems featuring “Little Drummer Boy”, “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)” and Joni Mitchell’s beautiful “River.” Stay tuned and check out my album preview here!

I am so excited to be a part of the new version of Jacques Offenbach’s “Les contes d’Hoffmann” at Teatro Real in Madrid this month. Performing alongside an outstanding crew of individuals, I will be singing the role of both Antonia and Giulietta.

MEASHA joins Chris Hadfield, Emily Haines, Gord Downie, Ron Sexsmith in tribute to Lou Reed!

singing "Perfect Day" by Lou Reed

I had the most incredible time last night. In addition to being able to sing “Perfect Day” with Kevin Hearn and the rest of Lou Reed’s band, I believe this was an incredible night of collaboration. The compositions of Lou Reed were like a perfume in the air, enveloping us all in celebration of his awesomeness. Happy Birthday, Lou.

Lou Reed would have been 72 on Sunday.
